フラワーカフェ1er ETAGEにて、粘土コーギーと抹茶ラテ

🦊☕️A cafe where you can relax surrounded by gorgeous dried flowers💐/ 1er ETAGE | Bowa Bowa Kyoto Stroll

-ω-) Henlo!

I'm Ayumi, Bowa Bowa Doggo 🦊

I am a dog artist who draws fluffy dogs, mainly Corgis, and kneads them out of clay.

Last Sunday, I went to Kyoto to refresh myself.

I live in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, but Kyoto is surprisingly close if I take the train, so if the thought "I want to go to Kyoto" strikes me, I can just pop over there🦊✨

Kyoto is a city that is very familiar to me. Both of my parents' families lived here, and I lived in an incredibly rundown apartment for a long time during my university years (it seems to have been demolished recently 😂).

So even though I've been going to Kyoto for a long time, I actually didn't know much about the area.

But recently, I've become obsessed with coffee and have been going around to different cafes, which has led me to think that Kyoto is really interesting!

And as I wander from cafe to cafe, inspiration for art starts to well up. It's the unique culture and atmosphere that makes it into my paintings.

In the "Bowa Bowa Kyoto Stroll" series, I will be sharing information about Kyoto (mainly cafes) 🎶

I'm planning to paint a lot of pictures of Kyoto from now on. I hope to be able to give you a sneak peek at the behind the scenes of my work.

The first installment is...

1er ETAGE

Last weekend was my second repeat visit!

This is definitely a recommended cafe for people who love flowers .

[Reel ver]

First of all, the store is filled with dried flowers! You can enjoy your drink and cake while taking in the scent of dried flowers and grass.

(I drank matcha🍵)

What's more, it is also located next to a dried flower shop !

If you find a flower you like, you can buy it to take home.

The dark interior of the shop has excellent lighting and a very calming atmosphere (as I'm a lighting artist in my day-job and this bothers me lol).

Both times, I found myself sucked into the soft, antique sofa .

When I sit down, I feel completely satisfied. The space is so complete.

When I got home, I sketched something with the idea of creating a painting based on this place .

The scene is when the customer leaves their seat to look around the flowers in the cafe, and when they come back, a large doggo has taken the place... (Just to be clear, dogs are not allowed in this cafe actually.)

Dogs are such a nuisance, aren't they? And that's a good thing. That's the kind of picture I'm planning to create.

I want to draw lots of pictures of flowers . I've recently started to like flowers, but I have a evil cat at home who is always playing pranks, so it's difficult to display them in a normal way...

I'm currently searching for bottled dried flowers and herbariums on sites like minne and Creema (Japanese handmade ECs).

I’m really interested in this shop: Furano Hana Shichiyo

I like simple, unadorned flowers. I want some bottled lavender so badly that I'll probably buy some next month...🪻

Of course, I am also thinking of buying it from 1er ETAGE! I might ask the staff about bottling next time.

If you find a good florist, please let me know!

Well then~🦊 See you soon

Next time, I'll write about a new place I went to that quickly became my favorite.
